    PROGRAM MANAGER

     

    Under the authority of the Director of Programs and Operations, you will oversee the following activities:

    • Manage and develop aircraft modification programs for civil or government/military connectivity projects. You will be responsible for customer satisfaction and ensure that all contractual commitments in terms of costs, quality and schedule remains under control, while considering the strategic aspects of the programs. As such, You will:
      • Manage multiple programs, from induction through final phase and delivery of all modified aircraft, in accordance with the contract. You will manage all phases of a program: initiation, planning, work execution, control and closure.
      • Ensure good relationship and satisfaction of your customers. You will liaise directly with your customer to ensure the success of the program.
      • Lead, manage, coach and guide the project team and subcontractors during the program
      • Organize on-site assistance during aircraft modifications
      • Monitor program finances and operational performance and you will continuously seek ways to improve budget by analysing all opportunities to reduce costs.
      • Monitor program progress from start to the end and report to the customer and Eclipse management the overall status of the program and all significant events to ensure successful completion of milestones.
      • Set up and manage performance indicators related to your programs,
      • At the end of each program, you will systematically conduct overall program reviews and implement “lessons learned” into the team.
      • Coordinate in-service support actions for modified aircraft in operations.

     

    • Business development: you will review customer statements of work, Request for Quotes (RFQ) and supporting documentation with proposal/sales team. You will prepare bids estimate workscope and costs for project opportunities and provide the technical and financial elements necessary to develop a commercial offer adapted to the expectations of the customer.

    Skills –

     

    Graduate in engineering (Master or equivalent), you have at least 4 years’ experience in an industrial civil or military aeronautical field, including at least 2 years in project management.

    You know how to use common sense and have demonstrated your ability to manage complex, transverse situations with an international or strategic dimension for the company.

    You are customer and results oriented, you are dynamic, flexible while being rigorous and well organized. You know how to empower teams in order to achieve objectives.

    You have a good technical knowledge of aeronautical connectivity systems or you are very interested in this subject, and are ready to get involved technically in projects to progress. Knowledge of aircraft modification processes (Part 21) is a bonus.

    You have a positive attitude and an ability to motivate, lead and give meaning to a team. Your communication skills, both internally and externally, in French and English, written and oral, are well proven.

    You know how to manage a budget and are constantly looking for sources of profit.

    You will be required to travel nationally and internationally depending on the needs of the program.

    OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE MANAGER

Our expertise covers design, manufacture and certification of innovative solutions for customers all over the world.

    In a strongly regulated environment, and with high operational requirements, the operational performance manager has a key position within the organization:

    He/she leads the teams around the performance objectives required by our clients. He/she optimizes the methods and efficiency of the program organization and promotes internal communication between all the functions. He/she encourages the continuous improvement of the teams by providing them with support in data management, analysis methods and action plan follow-up.

     

    Under the authority of the Director of Programs and Operations, you will oversee the following activities:

    • Develop continuous improvement tools for program management, and ensure the standardization of practices among Program Managers, in order to make program management more efficient operationally and economically,
    • Create, implement and operate program operational excellence indicators and organize the monitoring of customer satisfaction,
    • Initiate and manage projects to optimize the performance of the program organization,
    • Organize with project managers and technical team leaders the planification of projects, deliverables and help to allocate resources according to the priorities given by the management,
    • Participate in the overall improvement of the program quality processes and sustain the EN9100 certification obtained in 2021,
    • Assist in improving overall program visibility,
    • Organize the collection and capitalization of cost data for new program evaluation phase,
    • Manage and capitalize on program feedback, then monitor the implementation of corrective actions, and best practices,
    • Participate in the implementation of a new PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) in 2022,
    • Participate in the implementation of an ERP within the company in 2023

     

    Skills –

     

    With a masters degree in engineering, you have at least 2 years of work experience in a rigorous industrial field. Knowledge of aeronautics is a plus.

    You are recognized for your ability to lead cross-functional teams, your sense of pragmatism, your ability to analyze, synthesize and communicate.  You have the ability to educate, train and support change.

    Curiosity, ability to listen, strength of proposition, autonomy, initiative, and creativity are expected behavioral skills.

    Finally, you are customer and results orientated, you are reactive and proactive, flexible while being rigorous and organized.

    Fluent English is necessary for this position.

    SENIOR ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

     

    Eclipse Technics as a leader of aircraft changes engineering is specialized in connectivity installation.

    To support its development within all aeronautical sectors (Airlines, State and Private aircraft), ECLIPSE TECHNICS is looking for an experimented electrical designer to join the Design Office.

    In a dynamic environment within a company of human scale, you will be in charge of the development of the Electrical Definition File as well as the related installation and maintenance instructions for our solutions on the aircraft of our customers. You promote exchanges with all other functions within frameworks of the projects and as an experimented engineer you will know how to optimize internal methods and business tools.

     

    Under the authority of the Design Office leader, you will carry out the following tasks  :

    • Be in charge of the instruction of the electrical integration definition file for connectivity systems mainly, that in accordance with customer requirements and in accordance with internal technical directives.
    • Verify and validate the Definition Documents (harness plan, associated bill of materials, labels, instructions) and support the transmittal of these for industrialization purposes.
    • Participate in project milestones (PRDs, CDRs, etc.) planned by Program Managers.
    • Verify and validate the completeness and integrity of the Product Installation File (instructions, installation plans and the associated detailed Bill of Materials) intended to be used by the Maintenance Organization (MRO) in charge of the aircraft modification.
    • Support managers and as required participate to aircraft prototype phase on installation sites.
    • Check and validate the supplements to the aircraft electrical manuals (Wiring diagram manual, Schematics, Hook-up List …) as well as the operation manuals (Maintenance manual, Illustrated Parts Catalog) published by the Technical Documentation division in accordance with the rules of the aircraft manufacturer (Airbus, Boeing, Dassault …).
    • Define the design rules and methods of the Electrical Design division, and ensure that the rules and processes of Design Organization (DOA) as well as internal purchasing policies are respected during developments.
    • Monitor technological and normative developments.

     

    Skills –

     

    Graduate in Electronics or Electrotechnics (equivalent French BTS or DUT ) with 3 to 5 years of experience on aircraft (plane, helicopter, drone), or Junior engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience

    Necessary knowledge in:

    • Tools: IGE-XAO See Electrical Expert, Autocad, Audros/PLM
    • Aircraft Systems and Aeronautical Electrical Standards (ARP4404, ASTM F2490)

     

    Desired knowledge in:

    • Aircraft manufacturer documentation (IPC, AWM/WDM, AMM, Hook-up List) and aircraft electrical standard practice manuals (ESPM, SWPM).
    • PART 21J regulation and certification

    Rigor, communication, curiosity, responsiveness, adaptability, commitment and good ability to work in a team will all be necessary qualities for success in the position.

    The practice of fluent English is necessary for the holding of this position.
