How do we design and certify connectivity systems that are safe, compliant, and perfectly adapted to each aircraft mission?

Connectivity Systems, Engineered from the Start

At Eclipse Technics, connectivity integration begins with engineering. Our teams design tailored architectures that integrate seamlessly within the aircraft’s structural, aerodynamic, and avionics environments.

From antenna installation on the fuselage to cabin network distribution, each component is engineered to ensure optimal performance, minimal aircraft impact, and full compatibility with existing systems.

With in-house EASA DOA (Design Organization Approval), Eclipse Technics manages the full design and certification process – from initial concept to approved installation – ensuring that every solution is safe, compliant, and ready to fly.

CERTIFIED, BY DESIGN

At Eclipse Technics, certification is engineered into the system from the very beginning. With more than 600 STCs delivered worldwide, Eclipse Technics manages certification programs across multiple authorities, including EASA, FAA, CAAC, ANAC, and various military airworthiness authorities.

By integrating regulatory constraints directly into the engineering process, we mitigate certification risk, prevent late redesigns, accelerate authority approvals, and safeguard aircraft availability and program timelines.

This approach ensures that connectivity systems are certified by design, not by exception.

Integrator for Complex Connectivity Programs

Connectivity programs often involve multiple technologies, suppliers, and regulatory environments. Eclipse Technics acts as the technical integrator responsible for the entire system architecture.

Our role is to ensure that all elements (antennas, SATCOM terminals, cabin networks, avionics interfaces, and software systems) operate together safely and efficiently within the aircraft environment.

By centralizing engineering responsibility under a single DOA organization, we simplify program governance, reduce technical interfaces between suppliers, and ensure a consistent certification strategy throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience Across Civil and Military Platforms

Our catalog of certified solutions covers a wide spectrum of aircraft platforms, including:

  • Commercial aviation: Airbus (A220, A320, A330, A350), Boeing (737, 787), Embraer
  • Government & Military platforms: Bombardier, Dassault, Cessna, Beechcraft, Airbus (A400M, A330 MRTT, C295), Lockheed (C130), Embraer (KC-390), rotary-wing aircraft and special-mission platforms

Each platform brings its own structural, operational, and regulatory constraints. Eclipse Technics is structured to quickly understand this diversity while maintaining the highest standards of airworthiness, safety, and mission performance.

Eclipse - Large scale production

Proven on High-Exposure Programs

Our teams support connectivity programs ranging from single, high-profile aircraft to large airline fleet retrofit campaigns.

We regularly work on large airline fleets with multiple configurations, Head-of-State and VVIP aircraft, and Military platforms.

Our experience includes large-scale retrofit programs involving up to 250 aircraft for a single operator, demonstrating our ability to manage both high-sensitivity projects and complex fleet deployments while maintaining full configuration control.

Together with our production, hardware, airtime and onboard software capabilities, our engineering expertise allows Eclipse Global Connectivity to support the entire airborne connectivity lifecycle — from design and certification to in-flight operations.
